FAQ
Description
Give your dog a covered place to curl up with the PaWz Dog Cave Bed. The 2-in-1 design can be used as a hooded cave-style bed or a more open resting bed, making it suitable for dogs that like to burrow, sleep under covers or curl into an enclosed space.
Available in M, L and XL, the bed has a removable washable cover, waterproof underside, raised bolster and soft polypropylene-cotton filling.
Why Choose This Dog Cave Bed?
2-in-1 Covered or Open Bed
Use the bed with its cave-style cover for a more enclosed sleeping area, or arrange it as a more open bed depending on your dog's preferred sleeping position This makes it useful for dogs that naturally like to burrow or sleep under blankets.
Removable Washable Cover
The outer cover can be removed for easier cleaning. Follow the product care instructions when washing and make sure the cover is fully dry before putting the bed back together.
Waterproof Underside
The underside is designed to help reduce moisture passing through to the floor beneath the bed. This does not make the entire bed waterproof.
Raised Bolster Edge
The raised outer edge gives dogs a surface to curl against or rest their head on.
Soft Polyester Surface
The bed uses a polyester surface with polypropylene-cotton filling for a padded resting area.
Which Size Should I Choose?
Measure your dog while it is resting in its normal curled sleeping position.
Compare that measurement with the inner diameter, not only the outside dimensions of the bed.
If your dog sits close to the available inner space, compare the next size up before ordering.
For more bed styles and sizes, see our dog beds collection.
Who Is a Cave Dog Bed Suited To?
This type of bed may suit dogs that prefer to:
curl up tightly
burrow under blankets

It took a few days for my dog Toto to get used to his new bed as he was partial to his older one, but now he loves his bed. It’s roomy and snug.
This has to be the best bed I’ve ever bought, My girl loves to be undercover if you zoom in on the first photo you’ll see her and I love that the cover comes off to wash 😊
Our puppy loves his bed and hiding under the cover. It's soft material and padded bed make it very cosy and comfortable for him and naps are a regular occurrence in there. Thank you
From the moment I had unwrapped the bed, both of my Mini Daschounds jumped into it, even though it wasn’t cold. Its stil not cold enough yet at nighttime fir them to use it, but Winter isn’t far away.
This is our second big bed… my pack love it. They love to all get in together so we buy the biggest bed. It is very soft, very durable and fully washable and a great price. I would definitely recommend this one. Mine is size XL.
Our Daschunds love these beds. Would not get any other bed despite having to pay huge shipping fees to WA!
I love that we can pull them apart and wash them regularly too.
Our daughter visited with her dog and his bed cave. Our Jack Russell Peggy decided SHE liked his bed and would kick him out. We have bought Peggy her own bed and she loves it!
We have 2 Hungarian Viszlas who looooove these beds. They burrow under the hood and are so comfortable. Previously bought the $40 big W one but these are so much thicker, cosy and huge. Highly recommend. Bought size XL. (Also bought a medium for my Cat who is also in love with his bed.)
Great product and helpful customer support. The doggo loves the new pet bed.
Disappointed in the courier, the tracking updates were inaccurate and the bed went missing, I’m grateful Petpawz resent a bed.
My fur babies love it. The only small thing is keeping the top up.
I have a cushion in the back for now.
I'm going to try a pool noodle to hold it up.
Love the plush warmth in Tasmania.
This doesn’t look or sit like your add the top doesn’t sit up very disappointed would not recommend or buy from for this company again maybe I should contact PayPal for a refund as it’s not what’s advertised
Regards Janette Burgman
Ivy loves her new hooded bed!
She typically sleeps in a normal bed with a blanket over the top of her as she likes to be snug. When I saw this bed, I had to get it for her.
I am happy with this purchase but feel it is not the same quality as the older ones you used to sell.....bought one 2 years ago and the inside material was thicker....regardless Lily loves her new bed.....
I have 3 Dachshund’s who are quite comfortable sharing this big bed. They love to burrow in and snuggle up together. It’s the best bed I’ve found with its zip off cover to easily wash it. Best value for money 👍👍👍
Stan is my beautiful wee Jack Russell X Mini Foxey combo dog who always slept in or on my bed, and because I became very ill in the last few Months and I have had to teach him to sleep alongside my bed, and this bed is perfect for him and right from the start he settled in perfectly. Perfect bed for him.
I have 3 mini Dachshunds and couldn’t get 2 of them off my bed, now they both sleep on their new bed.
It took all of 2 days to convert them. 1 is inside, the other on top.
The 3rd dog shares the 2nd unit I bought downstairs. We all couldn’t be happier. They are so relaxed and comfortable
