The easy fold up and the grip on the ramp are the biggest benefits for me. This was the perfect item for my aging German shepherd who cannot jump in and out of the car anymore. It has a clip to attach to the boot latch, it ensures the ramp won’t pull away from the car while in use and the little rubber legs that prevent scratches on the car.
The ramp is very heavy and you can catch your skin in the folds trying to set it up.

Very heavy! I caught my skin trying to fold it up. I was searing loudly. The non slip top is excellent. The width is excellent at 44 cms my dog is scared of narrow bridges and he doesn’t mind this. Perfect for the back of my Audi car boot. It’s just too heavy for me to keep setting it up and packing it in. My arms are very tired.
We have not had a chance to use the ramp on many occasions, but so far for the small amount of use we have found it to be well made and constructed. We have 2 Border Collie’s and a Kelpie who are all happy to use the ramp.
